Literature and Plays

Broome holds subscriptions to a number of databases that offer access to short stories, novels, stage productions, plays, and other works of written or performed art. The following list highlights several of such that are focused on Black experiences, Black history, and Black artistry.

Saint Heron Community Library
Offered seasonally with selections by guest curators, this collection of rare, author-inscribed and out-of-print Black literary works can be borrowed up to 45-days, for free.
