The field of Sociology most often uses the American Sociological Association (ASA) and American Psychological Association (APA) citation styles; however, your professor may require you to use something different from time to time. The talented students and staff over at Broome Library's Writing and Multiliteracy Center have put together these wonderful style guides for not only APA and ASA, but also MLA, Chicago, ESA, CSE, and AMS citations. Make sure to give your references and citations a good once-over with these guides before turning in your paper!
