April is National Arab American Heritage Month! In 2017, the Arab America Foundation launched the National Arab American Heritage Month initiative. President Biden recognized National Arab American Heritage Month in April 2022. Congress, the U.S. State Department, and 45 state governors followed in commemorating the month. Currently, 4 states have passed legislation naming April as National Arab American Heritage Month.
